Bob Brigden – Chairman
Bob joined the Rotary Club of Norwood in 1995; he is a Past president of the club and a PHF recipient. Bob became a member of IFCR in 2003 and has taken part in tours of the UK in 2005, 2009 and 2013 plus World Festivals in Sri Lanka in 2007, South Africa (2010), Vapi (2012), Nottingham (2014) and Christchurch (2017) and numerous national festivals including Adelaide (2012) which he organised.
KRP Sarathy – Secretary
Sarathy joined Rotary in 2005. He launched the fellowship in D3150 (Hyderabad, India) in 2006 and was the charter chairman in the district from 2006 to 2009. He was the charter secretary of IFCR India when it was constituted as a country unit for the first time in 2009 and has served continuously on the IFCR India Board in different capacities. He became a PHF in 2006 and has taken part in world festivals at Colombo, Durban, Vapi, Nottingham and Christchurch. He has toured with an IFCR team to Australia and helped launch new IFCR chapters in Nepal, Bangladesh and Greece.
Richard Groom – Chairman of 2019 festival committee
Richard Groom, a multiple Paul Harris fellow, joined IFCR in 1990. Since then he has taken part in overseas parties to India and the UK as well as World Rotary Cricket Festivals in Christchurch, the Hunter Valley, Colombo, Durban, Vapi, Nottingham and Christchurch. Richard is also the co-ordinator of the IFCR Website.
Patrick O’Shea – Australia Representative
Patrick joined the Rotary Club of Bright in 1998 and has been President of the club twice. He served 7 years on District 9790 Committees and was AG for 3 years and has received PHF Sapphire recognition. After joining IFCR in 2002 Patrick has attend all World and Australian festivals also touring the UK 3 times and NZ with a District 9790 team in 2004.
Norman Brown – GB&I Representative
Norman Brown joined the RC of Bourne in 1994 and first became aware of IFCR when he was asked to help host an incoming Australian IFCR team at Bourne in 2001. He was awarded a PHF in 2009. As a cricketer of little ability Norman has enjoyed playing “international’ cricket and great Rotary fellowship overseas including at 6 World Festivals and five Australian Festivals. He was Chairman and Secretary of IFCR GB&I between 2010 and 2014 and also the chairman of the Organising Committee for the 8th IFCR World Festival at Nottingham in 2014.
Chittranjan Chaudhary – India Representative
Chittranjan joined the Rotary club of Central Calcutta in 1984 as a charter member. A multiple PHF, he has been club president, secretary, treasurer and bulletin editor. After joining IFCR in 2008, Chittranjan has attended world festivals in Durban 2010, Nottingham 2014 and most recently Christchurch in 2017. Chittranjan was the chairman of IFCR Kolkata from its launch in 2009; he was IFCR India vice-chair 2014-17.
Robert Armstrong – New Zealand Representative
Robert has been a member of the RC of Tawa in Wellington since 1975. He is a past president, former Assistant Governor and multiple PHF awardee. He joined IFCR in 1998 and has attended six IFCR Festivals from Chennai to Vapi. He has also toured all IFCR countries except Pakistan with NZ teams. He practised law for 30 years and was a Wellington City councillor for 12 years.
Sajid Bhatti – Pakistan Representative
Sajid joined Rotary in 1997 becoming President RC of Ruryila in 2001-02 and Assistant Governor in 2003-04. He established the IFCR Pakistan chapter. He was DG in 2015-16 and is now Assistant Rotary Co-ordinator Zone 6B. He will be the D3272 District Trainer in 2017-18. He is the chairman of IFCR Pakistan and has attended the Hunter Valley, Colombo, Durban, Vapi and Nottingham world Festivals. Sajid is also a major donor, level 1, to The Rotary Foundation.
Gerald Sieberhagen – South Africa Representative
Gerald joined Rotary in 1979. He is a Past President, a Past District Governor, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and recipient of the Four Avenues of Service Award. He was privileged to organise the Durban leg of Tours to South Africa by Australia, New Zealand and GB&I and in 2008 toured the UK with the SA IFCR team. He chaired the 6th World Festival in Durban 2010
